Accommodation
Leonard’s Field is a lovingly restored two-storey double fronted Victorian House built from local traditional stone, with a walled garden to the front.

We have endeavoured to create an atmosphere of restful comfort with modern facilities. Fresh flowers, combine with hand painted pictures to produce a ‘home from home’ and make it the perfect place to both explore Keswick and relax and unwind after the day’s activities.

Bedrooms
Our accommodation comprises 6 individually appointed, tastefully furnished rooms, a large airy dining room and a comfortable Guest Lounge.

There are four double en-suite rooms, one family room also en-suite and our popular twin bedded room with its own private facilities. Each room contains Coffee/Tea making facilities, colour TV and alarm clock radios as standard. We also provide hair dryers, complimentary toiletries and many other unexpected extras for your comfort. Each room is centrally heated and has its own individual thermostat to suit those hot and cold blooded amongst you !

Most rooms face west and enjoy a sunny outlook from Midday to late evening and if it’s peace and quiet you are looking for, Leonard’s Field enjoys the benefit of being located in one of the quieter streets, whilst still being a short stroll from the hustle and bustle of central Keswick.

All guest bedrooms are serviced daily, when tea and coffee is topped up and fresh towels are provided.

An iron and board are available if required and if it rains we can dry your waterproofs and boots in our drying room ready for your next days adventure!

Food & Special Diets
Start your day from the comfort of our warm and cosy dining room. Here at Leonard’s Field House, we pride ourselves on good wholesome food all locally supplied. Our hearty Full Cumbrian breakfasts sets you up for the day and we offer many variations on the traditional ‘bacon and eggs’.

Special diets are happily catered for. Many of our regular guests are on vegan, coeliac and vegetarian diets so we always have a good stock of specialist products. Simply make your request when booking. There is no extra charge for this facility.

In the main holiday season, we also offer 4 course evening meals for only £15 per person. We also have a table licence in operation, so we are able to offer wines, beers and spirits to compliment your meal. Simply state if you require evening meal when making your booking or order before 10am in the morning.

Facilities
The owners, being keen walkers themselves, are able to offer advice on any planned walks. Maps and walking guide books are available to borrow during your stay, flasks are filled for free and packed lunches are provided for a small extra charge. We also offer secure lock-up cycle storage and a secure off-road area for motorbikes.

Feel free to use the Guest Lounge to plan your day’s activities, whether it be walking, cycling, water sports, tennis, bowling or just pottering about. Keswick has something for everyone, young or old.

If you are planning a special occasion, simply let us know and we can arrange flowers and bubbly to be placed in your room. We can even pre-book theatre tickets and evening meals at selected restaurants.

If you are travelling by train or coach, we will happily collect you from Penrith by prior arrangement. We can also collect walkers from pre-arranged routes. Please enquire for further details.

We offer a small car park to the rear and there is ample unrestricted parking in the immediate vicinity.
